Need Description:
Unit: Emergency Department. This unit is a large, high-acuity Emergency Department with 80 treatment spaces in a modern environment. The team is experienced, collaborative, and supportive, with strong leadership and a focus on high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency care as the area s first ACEP accredited geriatric ED.
Shift Information: ROTATION – 12HR: 3P-3A / 7P-7A rotation. 36 hours per week. Weekend requirement: One weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract. Blocked Scheduling: A rotating blocked schedule can be requested. If requesting a fixed block schedule, it must be Thurs/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon. On-Call Requirement: Not required but highly recommended. May complete 32 to 44 hours, averaging 2 hours of call per contracted week. On-call shifts occur between 7p-7a, and can be picked up in 4, 8, 12, or 16 hour blocks.
Required Experience: 2 years recent experience. 2 years of U.S. work history required for non U.S. candidates.
Required License and Certifications: Active NY RN license, NIH, AHA BLS.
Contract Duration: 16 weeks.
Charting: EPIC.
Misc: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
