Job Title: Registered Dietician
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 06/15/2026 – 09/19/2026
Shift: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM | 7.00 Hours/Day | 35.00 Hours/Week
Pay Range – $50/hr – $55/hr.
Note:
- In- patient experience
- At least 2 years of experience required, 3 years or more years of experience is preferred.
- Bachelor s Degree required, graduate from accredited college/university with a degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition
- Registration by the Commissions on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian
- Additional credentials such as Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)/diabetes educator OR Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC)/critical illness is highly desired.
- Weekends and holidays are required. Mostly 1 or 2 weekends per month.
- Interviews: Webex and/or in person
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimal one (1) year of experience.
Education:
- Graduate from accredited college/university with a degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition.
- Master’s degree.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- For post-acute locations, requirements New York State Certification, issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) as a Dietitian-Nutritionist .
- For Acute locations: Registration by the Commissions on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian Primary Source Verification – Required.
- AHA BLS.
- Special Note for Dietitians assigned to Post-Acute Care (Long-Term Care) facility: Under the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, Reform of Requirements for Long-Term Care Facilities, as outlined in Section 483.60 of Title 42 of the Code of Federal Regulations all newly-hired Dietitians, assigned to a Post-Acute Care (Long-Term Care) facility, are required to have New York State Certification, issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), as a Dietitian-Nutritionist at the time of hire.
