Duties:
Job Summary:
Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
-This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients’ responses to treatments.
-Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.

5×8. 7:00AM-3:30PM. No call, weekend or holiday.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital operating room. Additionally, this candidate must be able to scrub (general) and circulate all types of cases. The candidate needs to be competent in General Surgery(laparoscopic and robotic), orthopedics/spine/podiatry, urology, ENT, and vascular.
