Registered Nurse (Med Surg) – Jackson, MI

Shift Details

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 Hours/Week (3 x 12-hour shifts)
• Candidate must be willing to float to units with equal or lower acuity as needed.

Position Summary

Provides high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for coordinating care, educating patients and families, documenting clinical information, and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.

Certifications & Licensure

• Active Michigan RN License.
• BLS Certification (AHA Required).

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required.
• Previous Level II Trauma Center experience required.

Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience providing comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting
