Position: Surgical Technologist II

Shift: 1st Shift | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | 5x8s (4x10s may be available)
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
AND ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
- Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist
- Completion of a Froedtert Health Apprentice II Program
- Ten (10) or more years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
Required Experience
- Minimum two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist
Required Certifications
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or AHA-approved equivalent
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide patient care throughout the perioperative process
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instrumentation
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures
- Perform procedures across multiple surgical specialties
- Anticipate surgical team needs and support efficient workflow
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills related to surgical patient care
- Collaborate with peers in clinical decision-making related to surgical procedures
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to surgical standards and protocols
- Perform additional duties as assigned
