Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Nights may vary
• 1 x 12-hour on-call shift every 8 weeks
• Hours: 36/week

Job Summary

Provides and coordinates quality patient care using the nursing process. Collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective surgical care.

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN License
• BLS Certification
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Robotic OR experience required and must be clearly listed on the resume

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-operative patient preparation
• Operating room setup and readiness
• Surgical documentation and charting
• Opening and managing surgical supplies
• Delivering quality patient care throughout the perioperative process

• Note: Approximately 40% of surgical volume is orthopedic cases. Candidate must list OR specialties and robotic experience on the resume
