Job Summary

Responsible for administering prescribed radiation treatments, positioning patients safely, operating radiation therapy equipment, and maintaining accurate treatment documentation. Works closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Operate Linear Accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment
• Position and immobilize patients for treatment accuracy
• Verify treatment prescriptions and document procedures
• Perform patient imaging and localization as required
• Coordinate treatment schedules and patient appointments
• Assist with simulation procedures
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies
• Adhere to departmental quality assurance and safety standards
• Support and mentor radiation therapy students as needed

Requirements

• ARRT (Radiation Therapy) Certification
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Varian and Aria systems
• Experience working on TrueBeam machines
