Pay Range: $35 to $41/hr.

Description: ONSITE – Valencia. Must be local to area.

This position works independently to assist R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.

Will be working with hiring manager, along with other teams in department.
Collaborative environment-

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes/products from concepts.
2. Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software (SolidWorks) to document prototypes and fixtures.
3. Develop prototype PCB design and layout using Altium or equivalent software
4. Explore and propose creative solutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.
5. Organize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.
6. Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
6. Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.
7. Act as a resource to other employees.
8. Communicate project status to project teams.

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Qualifications
AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3 years of related experience.

Attention to detail

Experience reading schematics
