Job Title: Collector 1
Duration: 3 months (possible extension)

Location: Dallas TX 75246 – position will be remote after 2 weeks of onsite training.

JOB SUMMARY
The Collector under general supervision and according to established procedures, performs collection activities for assigned accounts. Contacts patients and employers by telephone or through correspondence to obtain insurance information. Update accounts with the insurance information or steps taken to try to get the insurance information.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
The collector will be working on accounts to find the Worker s Comp billing information.
They will be contacting the patient and employer by telephone or through correspondence to obtain the insurance information. They will update the account with the insurance information or the information on what they found out in the process of trying to obtain the insurance information.
Enters detailed records consisting of any pertinent information needed.
Receives, reviews, and responds to correspondence related to accounts. Takes action as required.
