Job Summary
Under general supervision, performs routine laboratory activities including patient registration, venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and related laboratory support functions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Michigan Driver s License
- 5 years of phlebotomy experience
- Experience with straight needles
- Ability to draw 20–25 tubes in a single sitting
Preferred
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy training/certification
- Basic computer skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
- Process and transport specimens to the main laboratory
- Complete laboratory documentation and data entry
- Support clinic and laboratory operations as needed
