Position Summary
- The Radiologic Technologist I – Urgent Care works under the supervision of the Urgent Care Manager with oversight by the Solano Diagnostic Imaging Manager. The technologist performs general radiographic studies according to established quality assurance criteria and departmental protocols. This role is responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during examinations while maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The technologist also supports department operations through clerical assistance, equipment maintenance, image processing, and collaboration with urgent care staff.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols and QA standards.
- Assist and instruct patients before and during examinations.
- Evaluate imaging studies to ensure required diagnostic quality standards are met.
- Ensure patient safety and well-being throughout procedures.
- Produce radiographic images, organize studies, burn CDs, print films as needed, and complete required documentation.
- Maintain accurate requisition and patient data.
- Inspect, clean, and prepare imaging equipment prior to use.
- Report equipment malfunctions or failures promptly to supervisors.
- Report patient complaints, discrepancies, and adverse drug reactions according to QA policies.
- Support department workflow during downtime by assisting with: Front desk duties, Rooming patients, Clerical support.
- Other departmental functions as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education
Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology Program.
Experience
- New graduates are eligible to apply.
- One (1) year of general radiology experience preferred.
Certifications & Licensure
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) – Required
- ARRT Certification – Required
- Current AHA or equivalent Healthcare Provider BLS Certification – Required
