Location: Santa Fe, NM
Duration: 3+ Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Monday – Friday 06:30 AM – 15:30 PM with 1hr lunch.

Job Description:

The Phlebotomist II / Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the organization to patients, delivering high-quality care and exceptional service. This role is responsible for collecting blood specimens, ensuring proper handling and preparation for laboratory testing, and maintaining patient trust through professional, safe, and accurate practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections accurately and efficiently, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established guidelines.
• Verify patient identity and demographic information prior to specimen collection.
• Ensure patient signature and confirmation of correctly labeled specimens’ post-procedure.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and specimen tracking.
• Promote a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and commitment to process excellence.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience.
• Support operations across multiple locations as required.
• Adhere to all company policies, including safety, confidentiality, and dress code.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training (Preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections) (Required)
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred)
• Customer service experience in retail or service settings (Highly Preferred)
• Experience with data entry and basic computer/keyboard skills.
