Job Description:
The Project Manager 2 manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the overall project tracker, timeline, and supporting project management tools
- Manage the meeting cadence, including drafting agendas, capturing and disseminating notes, and tracking action items
- Collect and share weekly workstream updates to ensure visibility and alignment
- Support preparation for leadership report-outs
- Manage the central project site as the central repository for all materials
- Coordinate requests for and collection of relevant documentation from stakeholders
- Maintain key project documentation and oversee regular updates and reviews
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Less than 5 years of technical experience
- Proficiency in project tracking tools and software (e.g., SharePoint, Lucid, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with content management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience preparing concise, actionable leadership report-outs
- Ability to develop and manage detailed project timelines and trackers
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple, concurrent responsibilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with a Medicaid managed care organization and/or Client
