Job Title: Dental Hygienist

Duration: 6 months

Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

We are seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join the dental care team at Henry M. Client School of Dental Medicine. The ideal candidate will provide preventive, clinical, therapeutic, and educational oral healthcare services while ensuring compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing

• Administer local anesthesia, fluoride, and therapeutic agents

• Take and expose dental radiographs

• Conduct oral cancer screenings, periodontal assessments, and chart dental findings

• Review and update patient medical histories and obtain medical clearances when needed

• Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, flossing, brushing, and nutrition

• Prepare and disinfect operatories before and after each patient

• Maintain sterilization procedures and universal precautions

• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and blood-borne pathogen protocols

Requirements

• Associate s Degree, vocational, or technical training in Dental Hygiene

• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred

• Active Massachusetts Dental Hygienist license

• Current certifications/licensure maintained throughout assignment
