Shift: Monday –Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST
Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST
Job Description:
- The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the primary point of contact for patients and is responsible for collecting quality blood specimens for laboratory testing while ensuring a safe, professional, and patient-focused experience.
- This role requires strong phlebotomy expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen processing activities accurately and on time
- Collect forensic and clinical specimens following established procedures
- Verify patient demographics and labeling accuracy during specimen collection
- Ensure specimens are properly prepared and documented for lab testing
- Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records
- Create a positive and professional patient experience
- Support organizational standards for safety, quality, and customer service
- Travel between Patient Service Centers and physician office locations as needed.
- Work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts when required.
