Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)

Location: Lakeland, FL
Duration: 3 Months
Shift: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday–Friday; every 3rd Saturday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (@L2Z)

Job Summary:
Seeking a Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist) to collect blood specimens, process samples for laboratory testing, and provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires accurate specimen collection, strong customer service, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for patients of all ages.
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate records and patient information.
• Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Deliver professional, patient-focused customer service.
• Work independently while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred).
• Pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (where applicable).
• Strong data entry and keyboard skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work scheduled weekends and overtime as needed.
