Job Description:
Day-to-Day Duties
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to support production operations through machine setup and teardown, administrative tasks, building/material sanitation, and logistics. This role is critical to maintaining smooth workflows and a clean, safe environment. You will apply your training and skills to assist in production activities and help train others in operational techniques.
General Duties
Core Production Support

Assist with material handling (moving raw materials, staging components, replenishing supplies).

Prepare machines or workstations for operations (basic setup, cleaning, loading materials).

Support production flow by ensuring parts, tools, and materials are available when needed.
Administrative & Documentation
-
Enter data into production systems (e.g., work orders, inventory transactions).

Maintain accurate logs and records for compliance and traceability.

Update status boards or digital dashboards as needed.
Logistics
-
Move finished goods or components between work areas.
-
Coordinate with shipping/receiving for material transfers (where applicable).

Assist with cycle counts or inventory audits.
Sanitation & Safety

Perform routine cleaning of work areas and equipment.

Dispose of waste properly (including hazardous materials if trained).

Follow all PPE and cleanroom protocols.

Report safety hazards or equipment issues promptly.
Quality & Compliance

Perform basic visual inspections for defects or contamination.

Ensure materials meet cleanliness and labeling requirements.

Support compliance with ISO, GMP, or other standards (if applicable).
Training & Team Support

Shadow experienced operators and learn standard operating procedures.

Help train new hires on basic tasks and safety practices.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Other Duties as Assigned

Participate in and support continuous improvement activities.

Assist with special projects or emergency tasks when needed.
Working Conditions

Cleanroom environment prevalent.

Personal protective equipment required, including but not limited to safety shoes, safety glasses, and cleanroom garments (frock, gloves, facemask, etc.).

Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds with assistance (as needed).

Willingness to work overtime.
Education
-
High School Diploma or GED minimum.
Desired Experience

Hands-on experience with glass and glass cosmetic inspections preferred.

Executing processes.
-
Following work instruction checklists.
-
1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
