Duration: 3 months, possibility of extension

Schedule:
30 hours per week with a rotating overnight schedule (9:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.)
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Required Experience:
3–4 years of experience in an MES production environment.

Job Description:
Job Summary:

  • The MES Support – Nights role provides overnight support for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in a production environment.
  • This person will help keep manufacturing lines running by responding to MES issues, supporting users on the production floor, and escalating problems when needed.
  • The role works closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and IT to support night shift production.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide night shift support for MES-related issues on the production floor.
  • Respond to system problems that impact manufacturing and help restore normal operation.
  • Troubleshoot basic MES issues such as transaction failures, equipment connection issues, label printing problems, and user access concerns.
  • Support operators and production teams with MES questions and system use.
  • Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate teams and help track resolution.
  • Monitor MES activity during the shift and report issues that may affect production.
  • Document incidents, actions taken, and important updates for handoff to the next shift.
  • Assist with line startups, changeovers, and general production support as needed.
  • Follow site safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
  • Be available to work on-site during night shift hours and adapt to production needs.

Qualifications:

  • Basic experience with MES or other manufacturing systems preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or technical support environment preferred.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
  • Comfortable using computers, applications, and basic system tools.
  • Able to work independently and manage issues during off-shift hours.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with MES systems such as Rockwell FPTC, Camstar, or Client Opcenter.
  • Basic SQL or database knowledge.
  • Experience supporting production lines or shop floor systems.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment or PLC-related environments.
