Pay: $19.50/Hour on W2
Shift Time : 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

As a warehouse colleague, you will help deliver various types of products from life-saving personal protective equipment to microProducts for high school biology classrooms. You will be on the front lines of helping science make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

A Day in the Life:
Process customer orders daily to meet their expectations.
Work in one or more process paths; receiving, picking, packing, or shipping. This position is primarily for the SHIPPING department.
Scan and sort shipments according to standard operating procedures and complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials. Scan/move orders to proper pallet spots and/or trailers for departure. The shipping department has multiple functions – all leading to the safe, secure, and accurate loading of customer orders on to trailers for final delivery.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 6 months of work experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain or related field
Highly Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers/cherry pickers/reach trucks/standup forklifts), and/or Electric Pallet Jacks (riding/walking). This equipment is extremely useful for shipping associates.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quickly
Ability to read and write in English
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching) required.
Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs.
