Job Description:
Overview
Support position to plan, organize and control Supply Chain operations (Planning/Scheduling, Procurement, Packaging/Warehousing and Materials Controls), optimizing utilization of HCP s equipment, materials and Client to provide premium customer service.
This position will include a varying level of project work. Expect to participate in cross-functional teams within the plant and Client to enhance performance in areas such as manufacturing efficiency, supply chain operations and customer service.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Use strong system skills, analytical abilities and business knowledge to examine the effectiveness of manufacturing and Supply Chain operations and communicate conclusions; determine Product of improvement projects and initiate/lead them as necessary; develop reports and analysis for continuous improvement

New system implementation projects and initiatives within the Supply Chain department

Support packaging and warehouse activities, including process improvements in shipping and receiving, optimizing warehouse storage solutions, and improving packaging efficiencies

Create, modify, improve and support business reports and queries for Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and other functional groups

Responsible for performing work in a safe manner and maintaining a safe work environment; ensure personal safety and the safety of others at the facility; observe safe work practices and proactively report unsafe conditions

Analyze internal and external processes (benchmarking) to maximize efficiency of function and systems
Qualifications
Required Education

High School Diploma (minimum required for consideration)

Desired Skills

2–5 years experience in supply chain; degree in supply chain or APICS certification preferred

Lean and/or Six Sigma/Performance Excellence training or certification; Green Belt certification preferred

Understanding of Cable Products, Materials and Manufacturing processes

Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; SAP experience preferred

Ability to work in both autonomous and team environments
