Job Title: Patient Services Representative II (Phlebotomist)

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is responsible for collecting blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and professionalism while working with patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following standard procedures
- Verify patient information and ensure accurate specimen labeling
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience
- Follow all safety, compliance, and company policies
- Work independently and support multiple locations as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical assistant, paramedic training, or phlebotomy certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required
- Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Strong data entry and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and flexible to travel between locations if needed
