Job Description:
- The nature of the work is focused on consumer insights, assortment planning, go-to-market, and product management activities.
- Ensure merchandised assortments allow appropriate segmentation, deliver differentiation of the marketplace, and drive incremental growth.
- Finalize all category assortment plans and Product resolution aProductst issues on flow, pricing, and distribution decisions.
- Work to ensure assortment category vision is driven to the retail floor and that end state is profitable consumer-right assortments.
- Optimize the planning and placement of products in the appropriate format
Required:
- Degree preferred, not a hard requirement
- 5 years experience required in a merchandising role
- Top must-have skills include the following:
- Detail-oriented
- Able to work in ambiguity
- Marketplace awareness
- Excel expertise
- Team player mindset
Combination of skills that would make a candidate stand out:
- AV experience (assort visual)
- Prior Nike experience
- In-store retail experience
- ETW will help support soccer merchandising at the channel level, working closely with product, merch, and sales teams to determine the best product for specific accounts; will assist with product allocation as well
- Candidate should be comfortable with public speaking (mostly to internal audiences)
