Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: Butte, MT
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Duration: 4 months (Temp to Hire)

Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist I serves as the primary point of contact for patients, performing blood collection and specimen preparation for lab testing. This role requires accuracy, professionalism, and strong patient interaction skills to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection (including pediatric and geriatric patients)
• Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for testing
• Verify patient information and ensure proper documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service and build patient trust

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience (required)
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric draws
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer/data entry skills
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for coverage if needed

Preferred:

• Phlebotomy certification
• Medical assistant or paramedic training
• 2+ years in a patient service center or similar setting
• Customer service experience
