Job Summary
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Surgical Technologist assists in delivering safe, high-quality patient care throughout surgical procedures. Responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, preparing the operating room, and supporting the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Previous Pediatric experience
- Spine and Complex Orthopedic Surgery experience preferred
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
- Passion for working with children, adolescents with disabilities, and their families
- Ability to work the required shift schedule
- Physically capable of transporting and positioning patients safely
