Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Hopkinton, MA, 01748
Duration: 3 Months
Shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Pay Rate: $20.63/Hour on W2
Job Description Summary
- The Material Handler position has a variety of different job functions such as, but not limited to: checking incoming freight, picking and packing of outgoing material, and processing external paperwork for shipment through various domestic and international carriers and forwarders.
- Responsible for checking inbound material from outside vendors and internal shipping points that forward stock material in Boston for shipments to domestic and international carriers.
- Responsible for pulling and packing finished goods from the shelves and processing them for shipment.
- Process domestic and international paperwork for outgoing material.
- Assist with Cycle Count / Area Count process.
- Work with Inventory Control personnel to label and store incoming materials.
- 1–3 years of experience is ideal.
Skills:
- Must be able to lift more than 60 lbs.
- Must be able to stand on their feet for more than 4 hours straight.
- Must be able to move lead crates and operate a pallet jack.
- Must be able to bend up and down frequently throughout the day.
- Must have the ability to walk up and down stairs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word / Excel).
