Job Title: RN – Geri Psych
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 3 months Contract
Schedule: 7pm-7:30am, EOW
Hourly pay: $53/hour on W2 (negotiable)
Position Summary:
- Provide safe, competent, high-quality psychiatric nursing care to assigned patients.
- Deliver care using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and Relationship-Centered Care principles.

- MD/RN Unit Collaboration
- Respect patients’ values, preferences, culture, and individual needs.
- Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
- Use evidence-based practices to improve patient satisfaction.
- Perform service recovery and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, respect, and active listening.
- Conduct Purposeful Hourly Rounding addressing the 4 Ps.
Required Experience:
- 2–3 years of Medical Assistant or medical office experience.
- Experience supporting office operations, scheduling, documentation, and record management.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State RN License.
- BLS Certification.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
- EPIC experience.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing preferred. Associate degree in nursing is considered only with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN Program
- CPI or PMCS Certification required.
