RN – Operating Room (OR)

Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule
- 3 x 12-hour Day Shifts
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- On-Call: Once per week and every 6th weekend
- Weekday Call: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality perioperative patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The RN will circulate during surgical procedures, collaborate with the surgical team, maintain patient safety, and ensure efficient operating room workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate during a variety of surgical procedures
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
- Monitor patient status and document care accurately
- Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call coverage
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN License
- Minimum 2 years of OR Circulator RN experience OR experience in a Level II (or higher) Trauma Center
- Robotics experience required
- Trauma and Neurosurgery experience required
- Heart/Cardiac OR experience is NOT required
- BLS Certification
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
