Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)
Location: Tampa, FL

Shift: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM; Sat, 6:30 AM–12:30 PM
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) performs blood specimen collection, processes samples for laboratory testing, and delivers excellent patient service while ensuring accuracy, safety, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures.
- Perform accurate phlebotomy for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Maintain patient records and required documentation.
- Ensure a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment.
- Work independently while meeting quality and productivity standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred).
- Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA only).
- Keyboard/data entry skills required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call as needed.
