Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: 5×8 | 40 Hours/Week | No Weekends, No Holidays, No On-Call
Pay Range: $85 – $90/hr.
Required Experience
- Five (5) years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
- Ten (10) years of experience in Clinical Cardiology.
- Minimum three (3) years of Critical Care, Clinical Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Perioperative, or closely related experience.
- Current Endovascular/Cardiac Catheterization experience required or an equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
- Experience with Right Heart Cath, Left Heart Cath, Permanent Pacemakers, PCI, Loop Recorders, Peripheral Procedures, TEEs, Permacath Insertions, Fistulograms, Venograms, Port Insertions, IVC Filters, TCAR, EKOS, and EVAR.
Education
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing Program.
Preferred
- Master’s Degree.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider.
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Job Summary
The Cath Lab Manager is accountable for the effective and efficient operation of the Cath Lab, including EP, Neuro, Vascular, and Cardiac DAR. This position is responsible for patient throughput, staff performance, Cath Lab utilization, first case starts, room turnover, patient safety, policy and procedure adherence, quality and performance improvement measures, risk management, and overall Cath Lab flow and capacity.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop schedules and daily team member assignments and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the Cardiac Cath Supervisor and Lead Tech in the daily operations of the Catheterization Lab.
- Supervise efficient patient flow from CDAR, Cardiac Cath Lab Recovery Room, and Cardiac Catheterization procedural areas.
- Identify shift problems, investigate issues, and respond appropriately.
- Develop and maintain processes to support Cath Lab utilization.
- Improve procedural efficiency and patient flow.
- Monitor Standards of Practice to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, New Jersey State and Federal Codes (including DOH and OSHA), and other regulatory and accrediting agencies.
- Ensure adherence to legal requirements related to Risk Management, Patient Bill of Rights, and other regulatory agencies.
- Create and monitor unit-based indicators, integrating standards development, continuing education, credentialing, performance appraisal, concurrent monitoring, utilization review, risk management, and active problem identification.
- Provide for the execution of outcomes-based practice and direct staff in its application.
