Job Title: Senior Lab Tech
Location: Princeton, NJ, On-Site
Duration: 9 months (possibility to extend further) possible temp to hire!
Pay: $30 to $33/hr. on W2
Shift: first shift 8:30 – 5pm (flexible start and end time)

• *** has an immediate opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Technical Development group in the Perfumery & Beauty Division located in Plainsboro, NJ.
• As a Laboratory Technician you will support proactive and client-initiated fragrance and technology development projects in the Air Care category.
• You will support the high-quality execution of scientific studies and method development that result in winning fragrances and superior consumer-preferred benefits.

Your key responsibilities:

• Ensuring Fragrance deliver action standards for air care products are met and providing remediation recommendations to creation teams
• Testing samples for performance, stability while adhering to delivery due dates and applying good laboratory practices
• Cross-functional interaction, coordination, and planning/scheduling with Perfumers, Fragrance Development Managers, account teams, and sample labs
• Keeping personal workbench clean, organized as per best practices
• Record-keeping, report writing, and data presentation
• Operating with a team spirit mindset and supports their colleagues under high workload situations.

You bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree/experience preferably in a relevant or allied fields: chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, food science along with a minimum of 3 years of practical laboratory experience
• Previous experience in a perfumery of FClientG company strongly preferred with knowledge of chemistry principles
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint with ability to chart and present data
• Title and compensation commensurate with experience (Sr. Lab Tech minimum of 5 years experience)
• Passion for problem solving and able to plan, manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree/experience preferably in a relevant or allied fields: chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, food science along with a minimum of 3 years of practical laboratory experience
