Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 2 months Contract
Schedule: Day Shift 8:30AM – 4:30PM Monday – Friday.
Hourly rate: $55/hour on W2 (Negotiable)
Additional Requirements:

• Local candidates only.
• In-person interview required.
• Candidate will be evaluated by an MFM specialist for high-risk OB ultrasound competency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with ultrasound examinations following departmental protocols.
• Prepare patients and ensure proper positioning and safety during procedures.
• Operate, adjust, clean, and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Capture and transfer ultrasound images through PACS to physician workstations.
• Assist Radiologists with technical support during examinations.
• Ensure availability of supplies and maintain equipment readiness.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Assist with training and mentoring new ultrasound staff.
• Schedule exams, answer phones, and coordinate patient transportation as needed.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years of Ultrasound Technologist experience.
• Must have OB ultrasound experience, including high-risk pregnancy patients.
• Ability to perform detailed fetal/MFM ultrasound examinations.
• Proficiency with PACS and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of office and administrative practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
