Job Title: RN Medicine Specialty

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions ranging from simple to complex.
- Assume responsibility for an assigned patient population.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to nursing interventions and treatments.
- Update and document physician orders accurately.
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor patient physiological status and intervene when necessary.
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
- Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience.
- Current Oklahoma RN License or Multistate Compact RN License (eNLC).
- Current AHA BLS certification.
Preferences:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved nursing program.
- Level I Trauma experience preferred.
