Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $80/hour (W2)
Travel Rate : $3228/weekly , W2 rate : 31 Stipend: $1926/weekly
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele) to join a leading healthcare facility in Woodland Hills, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, experience caring for adult medical-surgical patients, and the ability to monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced acute care environment while delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical/Surgical Telemetry patients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and promptly recognize and respond to rhythm changes.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and patient safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA).
- ACLS Certification (AHA).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience in an acute care hospital.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient assessment skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a collaborative team environment.
