Job Title: RN – CSICU
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 02 months Contract
Schedule: Day shift, EOW is required, 7am-7:30pm
Hourly rate: $58hour on W2 (Negotiable)
Summary:

• Registered Nurse (RN) providing safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team on patient care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment, discharge, and disease prevention.
• Prioritize patient care, delegate tasks appropriately, and manage assignments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC (preferred).
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and hospital policies.
• Perform purposeful hourly rounding and support an excellent patient experience.
• Identify and escalate patient safety concerns and resource needs.
• Perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and professional development.

Required Qualifications

• Active NYS RN License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years Post Open Heart & Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) experience required
• EPIC experience highly required

Unit & Schedule

• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3×12)
• Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
• Unit: 26-bed Cardiac Care Unit
• Average Unit Census: 17 patients
• Staffing Ratio: 1:2
