Job Title: RN ICU – FS
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Nights; 3 × 12-hour shifts/week, 36 hours/week
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients with simple to complex health conditions in a hospital setting.
• Manage an assigned group of patients and provide competent patient care.
• Document patient responses, nursing interventions, prescribed treatments, and changes in physician orders.
• Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
• Obtain and monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary.
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products.
• Communicate care plans and hospital procedures with patients and families.
• Make appropriate referrals based on patient care needs.
• Delegate tasks to support staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Oklahoma RN license or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC).
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferences:

• BSN or higher from a board-approved nursing program preferred.
