Job Title: Registered Nurse 1
Location: Nashville, TN 37214
Duration: 105 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Days, 12.5 hours*3 days 1 week, 12.5 hours*4 days 2nd week,
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide basic and direct patient care.
- Administer and dispense medications.
- Apply dressings and perform blood glucose checks.
- Implement fall precautions and patient safety measures.
- Provide patient and family education, including medication teaching.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Work across all assigned units as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking, organization, and multitasking skills.
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered Nursing license.
- Current AHA BLS certification; must remain active for at least 1 year upon hire.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be flexible to work all units and assigned schedules.
- Skills include basic patient care, CPR/BLS, EMR, computer literacy, critical thinking, medication administration, patient education, HIPAA knowledge, judgment, multitasking, professionalism, and organizational skills.
