Job Title: RN – Telemetry
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 03 months Contract
Schedule: NIGHT SHIFT 7PM – 7:30AM EOW IS REQUIRED
Hourly rate: $53/hour on W2 (Negotiable)
- Education: BSN required
- License: Active NYS RN License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Clinical Experience: Minimum 2 years Telemetry/Med-Surg experience
- Telemetry: Required
- Ventilator: Experience required
- EMR: EPIC experience highly
- Core Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care
- Assess patients and develop/implement/evaluate plans of care
- Administer medications and perform clinical interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Patient/family education and discharge planning
- Purposeful hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives
- Maintain accurate and compliant nursing documentation
- Identify and escalate patient safety risks
- Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nursing research
- Support patient throughput and resource utilization
- Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
- Maintain professional development and clinical competency
