Title: Phlebotomist III – Floater
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 6+ Months (Temp to Hire/ Possible Extension)
Shift: Mon toFri 5:00am-2:00pm (hours vary depending on site) & Rotational Sat 6:00am-12:00pm
Note:
Floaters are able to submit mileage for expense reimbursement (From Primary location to visiting location).
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record.
Overview:
The PSR III – Floater represents the face of the company, delivering professional specimen collection services and ensuring exceptional patient care. This floater role requires travel between multiple sites, performing venipuncture and specimen processing while adhering to safety, accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled venipuncture, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections, and specimen processing.
- Verify patient information and ensure accurate specimen labeling in their presence.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Complete required documentation and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Adapt to different locations and work environments with minimal notice.
- Work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comply with company dress code, policies, and health/safety standards.
- Deliver high-level customer service and promote a positive company image.
Education & Experience:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Required: 3 years of phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Preferred: Medical Assistant or Paramedic training and phlebotomy certification.
- Preferred: Minimum 2 years of Patient Service Center experience.
- Floaters travel between multiple sites and are expected to be on time at whatever site they are covering for that day.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.
