Job Title: LVN/LPN
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Sterling VA 20165
Work Schedule: Hours for clinic are Mon-Fri 8a-7p (1 hour lunch), Sat 9a-530p (30min lunch), Sun 9a-430p (30min lunch)
Position Summary
- As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will utilize advanced clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
- Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering treatments and medications, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and advocating for patients.
- Your critical thinking and clinical knowledge will help support improved patient outcomes and enhance healthcare delivery.
REQUIRED Qualifications
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room. (Nurses whose experience is primarily in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, home health, LTACs, and skilled nursing facilities may encounter challenges adapting to the Client environment. DO NOT submit candidates whose background is limited to these areas.)
- Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
- Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; Epic experience preferred.
Education:
- The LPN/LVN must have a full, active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
