Job Description:
Summary:
- Supports engineers in improving manufacturing processes via machine setups, collection and analysis of production samples, and collection and analysis of data.
- Plans sequence of operations for experimental trials, exercising judgment in compromising between conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods, and operator effectiveness and comfort.
- Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such key process variables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Considerable technical and content knowledge of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable working with Engineers and Manufacturing Operators.
- Independently able to solve the vast majority of problems and ambiguities by examine pertinent facts and evidence.
- Seeks direction for issues that cross functional areas and/or have broad impacts.
- Coordinates other activities beyond routine tasks.
- Recommends process improvements, meets or exceeds deadlines, and able to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
- AAS Preferred but not required,
- HS/Equivalent Required.
Experience:
- 7+ Years in Manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Excel.
