Job Title: Sonographer – Cardiovascular

Contract: 13 Weeks of contract
Shift: Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday–Saturday; days of the week will vary
On-Call: 1 week every 4–5 weeks
Pay Rate:

• Local: $60/hr on W2
• Travel: $2,635/Weekly Gross

Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Sonographer performs a variety of ultrasound procedures using high-frequency sound waves to evaluate internal organs, vessels, and cardiovascular structures for the diagnosis and management of disease. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging while providing safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care.
Key Duties

• Perform cardiovascular and ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare examination rooms, equipment, and supplies before procedures.
• Obtain informed consent and accurate patient clinical history as needed.
• Review patient history and select the appropriate imaging protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them appropriately for examinations.
• Assess patient condition and respond appropriately to patient needs during procedures.
• Perform diagnostic techniques and tests while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Review completed studies for image quality, completeness, and accuracy.
