Job Summary
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in identifying solutions to variances from patient care goals and ensures appropriate implementation of those solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills necessary to develop and implement effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Current BLS certification required.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- MondayβFriday schedule consisting of a combination of 12-hour and 8-hour shifts
- Every other weekend: 12-hour shifts
- Exact shift assignments may vary based on department needs.
