Job Title: Laboratory Assistant/ Specimen Technician
Location: Cleveland, OH
Duration: 3+ Months (Possibility of Extension/ Temp to Hire)
Available Shifts;
1st shift: Tue to Sat: 9 AM-5:30PM
2nd Shift: Thu to Mon: 3PM-11:30PM
2nd Shift: Tue to Sat: 3 PM-11:30PM
3rd Shift: Fri to Tues: 7PM-3:30AM
Job Summary:
Support daily lab operations by performing routine tasks accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and prepare specimens for testing
• Perform centrifuging, labeling, aliquoting, and specimen storage/retrieval
• Prepare reagents and media
• Maintain instruments and equipment
• Record data (e.g., temperature logs)
• Handle QA/QC tasks and resolve pending lists
• Decontaminate work areas and dispose of biohazard materials
• Follow all PPE and safety protocols

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Basic math and science knowledge preferred
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and maintain accuracy
• Professional and respectful communication skills
