Job Title: Director, Finance
Location: Santa Monica, CA – 90404(Onsite)
Duration: 6-month contract
Pay Range: $73/hr. – $78/hr.
Summary:
The Director of Finance plays a key role in shaping and executing the Client Games financial strategy as well as providing financial support to the Skydance Media. This executive will Support the EVP/CFO with FP&A for both divisions, amongst other things:
- Financial planning and analysis
- Greenlights (new games, Games acquisition)
- Monthly reporting to division senior management and CFO
- Budget, Monthly forecast and Long-Range plan
Position will be main point of contact with corporate and Studio segment finance for the Skydance Media division. Rhe Director Finance will:
Interact daily with all areas of the business (Mgt, Diz Dev, Development, Mktg) as well as the centralized controllership function. The position will provide financial support and guidance.
Help with the implementation and trouble shooting in the Company-wide ERP (FP&A module), and should be familiar with financial systems, preferably Oracle.
Ability to function in a fast, growing, and creative environment will be key.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Provide financial analysis to senior leadership. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Control project costs in conjunction with the team lead, ensuring compliance with policies and adherence to budgets
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 10+ years experience in the gaming industry
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong understanding of industry-specific financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations and build relationships with external stakeholders.
