Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM ET | 40 hours/week

Job Summary:
- The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is responsible for providing professional patient care, performing blood collections, and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. The role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture, capillary, forensic, and clinical specimen collections.
- Collect and process specimens accurately according to established procedures.
- Perform pediatric and geriatric blood collections.
- Verify patient demographics and specimen information.
- Ensure tubes are properly labeled in the patient’s presence.
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
- Provide patients with clear explanations of collection procedures.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and positive environment.
- Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Travel between Patient Service Centers and physician offices as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
- Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
- Patient Service Center experience preferred.
- Customer service experience highly preferred.
- Keyboarding/data-entry experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations and cover staffing needs, including overtime, weekends, holidays, or on-call assignments when required.
