Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
Compensation:
Local Pay: $ 70- $77/ hour on W2
Travel: $3360/weekly
Job Summary:
The Step-Down Unit RN provides care to patients who require closer monitoring than a general medical-surgical unit but do not require full ICU-level care. The RN monitors patient conditions, administers medications, manages IV therapies, and collaborates with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
Job Duties:
- Monitor patients with complex and/or unstable medical conditions.
- Perform frequent assessments and recognize changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, oxygenation, and other clinical parameters.
- Manage oxygen therapy, telemetry, drains, and other medical devices.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Assist with procedures and provide post-procedure monitoring.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and care plans.
Requirements:
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Experience in Cardiac Rhythm Recognition
