Pay Rate:: $65/hour on W2
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele) to provide quality patient care at Los Angeles Medical Center. The ideal candidate should have recent experience in a medical-surgical telemetry setting, strong cardiac monitoring skills, and the ability to deliver safe, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize abnormal arrhythmias.
- Assess patients’ conditions and report changes promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
- Maintain patient safety and follow infection prevention and hospital protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state where care is provided.
- At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic arrhythmia recognition skills.
