- Local: $65/hr on W2
- Travel: $2,425/weekly
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical-Surgical position in Grand Junction, Colorado. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, assess and monitor patient health, implement treatment plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient recovery while following established nursing standards and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards and state Board of Nursing regulations.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Collect and assess ongoing health data to evaluate patient health status.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients.
- Deliver supportive and restorative therapies and treatments to promote patient health and well-being.
- Execute delegated medical functions within the scope of practice.
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience.
- Active RN license – Colorado state or compact license.
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS (AHA) – Required
