Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ED
Location: Neptune, NJ
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 x 12 hours every other weekend required
Pay: $55-$57/hr.
Summary:
Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized and innovative services in the Emergency Department.
- Handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages.
- Deal with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.
- Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions.
- Prioritize injuries and medical needs accordingly.
Required Skills:
- Must have a minimum of 18 months of nursing experience working in an ED environment.
- Must have ED experience within the past six months.
- Demonstrated level of performance and practice is required.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Certifications & Licenses:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS-AHA.
- ACLS.
- Telemetry.
- PALS.
- NIHSS.
- CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours.
