Title: X-Ray Technician
Location: Morristown, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday-Friday 9a-5p including EOW 9a-5p and one on call shift every 3 weeks
Pay Rate: $60/HR ON W2
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing imaging and treatment processes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
- Maintain all equipment for procedures, assess safety, procedure, physical and physiological comfort of patient.
- Monitor need for procedure revisions, coordinate daily imaging procedures, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years’ experience as an X-Ray Technician.
- Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care of all equipment.
- Current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics, as well as new developments and innovations in hardware and software technology.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem identification, resolution, and analytical skills are essential as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
Certifications & Licenses:
- Certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- NJ State licensure as required.
- ARRT (R).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
